This page explains how to delete data associated with AI Scanner, what happens to each kind of data, and what we are required to keep. It is a companion to our Privacy Policy.
AI Scanner has no accounts and no server. There is nothing to log into, and nothing of yours is stored with us. Everything you scan — documents, PDFs, history, favourites, receipts — lives only on your device, and you can delete all of it yourself in seconds.
A small amount of technical data does leave your device: crash reports, anonymous usage statistics, an advertising identifier, and a record that a subscription was purchased. None of it contains anything you scanned. Instructions for deleting each are below.
You control this directly. No request to us is needed, and nothing has to be approved.
Because none of this data was ever uploaded, deleting it on your device deletes it completely. We hold no copy.
The app uses Google services that process a limited amount of technical data. We do not run our own servers, so this data is held by Google, not by us.
Technical details of crashes, device model and OS version, and a randomly generated installation identifier. It contains nothing you scanned, and is not linked to any account or to you personally.
To delete: uninstalling the app ends collection. Reinstalling generates a new installation identifier, so earlier reports cannot be connected to the new installation. To have existing reports removed, email us as described below.
Which features are opened, and how often. No scanned content and no personal identifiers.
To delete: email us as described below and we will submit a deletion request for your installation identifier.
Used only for free-tier users. Pro subscribers see no ads, and none of this data is collected.
You can delete this yourself, without contacting us: on your phone go to Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads on some versions) and choose Delete advertising ID or Reset advertising ID. It takes effect immediately and applies across every app on the device.
If you purchased AI Scanner Pro, a record exists showing which product was bought, when, and whether it is still active. It is tied to an anonymous identifier, not to a name or an email address. We use it for one purpose: to know whether your device should unlock Pro features.
To delete: email us as described below. Please read the retention section first — part of this we are not permitted to delete.

Because the app has no accounts, we cannot look you up by name or email address. Please include whichever of the following you can:
We aim to acknowledge within a few working days and to complete deletion within 30 days. We will tell you plainly what was deleted, and what — if anything — had to be retained.
We would rather state this plainly than leave you to discover it.
None of this includes anything you scanned. Your documents were never uploaded, so no copy of them exists for anyone to keep.
Uninstalling AI Scanner permanently removes every scan, PDF, receipt, setting and cached file from your device. If you also subscribed, cancel the subscription separately in Google Play → Subscriptions — uninstalling an app does not cancel its subscription.
